Contemporary Artist Vijender Sharma is known for distinctive creative strokes that infuse countless emotions into creation. Vijender Sharma was born in a small village in Delhi. He started going to school like other kids, his school was in an open ground under a tree. Gradually 5 rooms were built till 5th class. The favorite subject of young boy Vijender was art and drawing. He was very fast in drawing and helped his classmates who were not good at drawing and completed their work. He took commerce but later on took admission in College of Art.(Delhi).Later he completed Masters in Fine Arts with distinction (Gold Medalist)

Even as a student he use to make signboards, posters of films as the financial condition of his family was not good. Vijender always admired the army soldiers and always wanted to join army or else wanted to become a sanyasi. He believes three things are very essential in life one meditation, patriotism and the power of endurance to face any problem in life. Vijender says, “Painting is another form of Worship.” He has contributed paintings for TV Serials – B.R. Chopra’s ‘Mahabharata’, Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Ramayana’ & ‘Vikram aur Vaital’. Comissioned portraits of Hon'ble President of India A.P.J.Abdul Kalam and former President Hon’ble Pranab Mukherjee to display at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Apart from India Vijender Sharma’s paintings are displayed in United Kingdom, Japan, Denmark, Dubai, Italy, Paris, Sweden, Singapore, U.S.A, Tanzania & at many other private collection worldwide. Being a creative person Vijender Sharma have also painted some beautiful poems and articles by his words entitled as Yatra, Dukh kya Hai, Atma bodh, Antah swar and Jeevan Kya Hai.

Vijender Sharma has been awarded by Sahitya Kala Parishad, New Delhi and also won AIFACS (1st Prize), New Delhi.

He also got Guinness Book Record, Longest Painting, Meerut Group. India.

He believes that the colours are the immense knowledge of life, as an artist Vijender Sharma says all the colours are around us, he can feel them, hear them, and touch them.
